Everyday I learn more from you than you know

Everyday, I go to work with children with specific disabilities. Some have multiple disabilities, some have Autism, some have medical and physical needs. Each day, I learn more and more on how to be. Each day, I find a new way to access the brain of a child by their interests and try to take them to a place that they want to learn, they want to create, and they want strive to try. Each day, I have the opportunity to see what society talks of as the "less than 1%" of the population. This population is what many people fear, many people do not understand, and many people turn their heads away. This population of children and adults are what makes our society a whole. These people hold the key to where we are going in the future. It is with those that can not express themselves to their hearts desire according to society' s conventional ways that they are forgotten. However, once you reach a person with special needs, your life will be changed forever.
